To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.
Membership in Sigma Theta Tau is an honor conferred on students in the baccalaureate and graduate programs who have demonstrated excellence in their nursing program. Georgia State University is home to the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society in Nursing.

Monroe College Conferred Degrees on 2,800 Students Representing 68 Countries at 84th Annual Commencement
Monroe College, a national leader in educating urban and international students, held its 84th Annual Commencement on Tuesday, June 7, 2017 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. New York City Council Member Annabel Palma and New York State Assemblymember Michael Blake gave commencement addresses. Two separate ceremonies were held to accommodate the families and friends of the 2,800 students receiving Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degrees and professional certificates.

Several students were elected as presidents to their respective sororities for the year. Susquehanna is home to five national sororities for women that comprise the Panhellenic Council: Alpha Delta Pi (Gamma Omicron chapter), Kappa Delta (Beta Upsilon chapter), Sigma Gamma Rho (Rho Theta chapter), Sigma Kappa (Epsilon Delta chapter), and Zeta Tau Alpha (Iota Nu chapter).

Elizabethtown College welcomed 57 Momentum students to campus this week. Momentum is a voluntary, interdisciplinary approach to introducing first-generation college students to the Liberal Arts and Sciences and help them prepare for the academic expectations of college.
Several students recently toured London, Cambridge, St. Andrews and Edinburgh as part of the university's Global Opportunities (GO) program. Through their travels, they studied the inner workings of the British legal system. In collaboration with British professors and law enforcement officials, participating students learned about local and national law enforcement practices and how they affect the cultures that call the United Kingdom home. They examined British law in the context of the European Union and were also able to make comparisons to the United States.
